Chinese Name : 洗眼仙水
Drug Formulation
3 qian of alum (previously ground to a fine powder), 3 qian of forsythia, 3 qian of saposhnikovia root, 3 qian of Chinese schizonepeta, 3 qian of safflower, 5 qian of copper patina, 5 qian of alum, 5 qian of calcium carbonate, 5 qian of Angelica sinensis root tip, 5 qian of chrysanthemum, 5 qian of red peony root, 40 ground apricot kernels, and 40 ground peach kernels.

Processing
Place all ingredients in a jar. Pour 5 jin each of boiled river water and well water over the mixture, then simmer in a double boiler for half an incense stick’s duration. Bury half of the jar in the ground and cover it securely.

Use 1 wine cup of the medicinal solution each time, dipping a soft silk cloth into it to wash the eyes.
