Raw rhubarb 2 liang, human nasal yellow 5 qian, real orpiment 5 qian, Guangzhou turmeric 3 qian, ox gallstone 1 qian, cinnabar 5 qian, borneol 5 fen, cicada exoskeleton 5 qian, dried silkworm 1 liang 5 qian.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; use yellow honey and aged wine to form pills, each weighing 2 qian.

Instructions for Use

For swelling of the head and face: 1 qian of chrysanthemum flowers, 8 fen of peppermint; decoct in water, strain, mix with one pill, and take several times in succession until the swelling subsides. For Wool-Like Heat Syndrome: 1 liang of gypsum; decoct in water, strain, dissolve 1 qian of borax in the liquid, mix with one pill, and take.To treat rashes, measles, smallpox, fire toxins, and red wandering sores, use 1 liang of gypsum and 1 qian of rhinoceros horn (ground into powder); decoct in water, strain, mix with the pill, and take;To treat warm malaria characterized by more heat than cold: 2 qian of Artemisia annua and 5 qian of gypsum; decoct in water, strain, mix with the pill, and take; to treat red-and-white toxic dysentery with abdominal pain and a sensation of heaviness: 2 qian of Angelica sinensis and 1 qian of Scutellaria baicalensis; decoct in water, strain, mix with the pill, and take;For treating hidden heat with hemoptysis: 5 fen of Qiushi; dissolve in boiling water and take with the cinnabar; for treating hidden pathogens causing chest tightness and headache: 1 qian of mint and 5 fen of Chuanxiong; decoct in water, strain, and take with the cinnabar; for treating damp-toxin, malaria-induced sores, poisonous insect bites, suppurative ulcers, scabies, and ringworm,boils, abscesses, and carbuncles: 1 qian of honeysuckle and 1 qian of licorice; decoct in water, strain, and mix with the pill before taking; to treat sudden convulsions and syncope in children, accompanied by fever, mental confusion, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and epileptic convulsions: 1 qian of peppermint and 3 qian of Uncaria; decoct in water, strain, and mix with the pill before taking.
