Drug Formulation

1 liang of imported sulfur, 1 liang of black aconite (peeled, used raw), 1 liang of fresh wax-processed tea.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. First, mix the powder with 1 sheng of good wine, divide it into five large, clean bowls, and spread it out over a fire to dry. Place the bowls on a tile; under each bowl, burn a fist-sized piece of well-roasted mugwort. Use the tile to lift the bowls, ensuring the fire does not touch them, until the smoke has completely dissipated. Once cooled, scrape off the residue, grind it finely, and store it in a porcelain jar.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose with 1 zhan of wine; decoct together until reduced to 7 fen. Do not be alarmed if flames appear.
