Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder and roll cotton paper into a strip about one chi long.

Benefits

For back abscesses with yin-type symptoms.

Instructions for Use

Use 3 fen of the mixture each time. Moisten a strip of cotton paper with pure sesame oil and heat it until smoldering. Hold it about half a cun away from the ulcer and slowly move it in a circular motion from the outside toward the center. As the heat rises, the medicinal vapors penetrate the wound, causing the toxic ulcer to dissipate with the vapors, thereby preventing it from invading the internal organs. Begin with 3 strips, gradually increasing to 5–7 strips as the ulcer subsides, then gradually reduce the number. After fumigation, apply an ointment immediately.
