Drug Formulation
4 liang of red dates (pitted and charred), 7 qian 5 fen of real male ginseng (unroasted), 1 fen of dried alum, 1 fen of genuine rhinoceros horn, 1 fen of ivory-colored plum blossom, 1 fen of borneol, 1 fen of calcined copper green, and 1 fen of genuine musk.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, store in a porcelain jar, and ensure no air escapes.

Instructions for Use
To administer, roll red paper into a tube and blow the powder into the throat; lie on one’s back for a short while; expelling as much thick phlegm as possible is ideal; for sore throat with ulceration, blowing the powder in and leaving it overnight will bring relief.
