Drug Formulation
Large Schizonepeta root (wash thoroughly, cut into fine pieces, and grind until pulpy. One source suggests adding a small amount of rice vinegar while grinding, as this helps the Schizonepeta break down more easily)—use as much as needed.

Instructions for Use
Apply a quantity of medicine about the size of a millet seed to the head of the sore; reapply after a short while, and the tissue will feel soft. Alternatively, depending on the size of the sore, spread the mixture over the affected area—it will feel as cold as ice. Leave a ring-shaped opening about one wei in diameter; once it dries, replace the application. The opening will gradually shrink until the sore breaks open.
