Drug Formulation

Half a liang of cinnabar (bright, in granules or chunks), 1 pig’s heart.

Processing

Place the cinnabar inside the pig’s heart, secure it with hemp fiber, and boil in water for one fu. Remove, finely grind the cinnabar (discard the pig’s heart), and separately grind Poria and Polygala into a powder. Mix with a binder to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 pills per dose on an empty stomach or before meals, washed down with a decoction of ginseng and jujube seeds.
