Chinese Name : 金泥膏
Drug Formulation
Acorus (using a 1-cun stalk with 9 nodes) 1 liang; Polygala (with core removed) 1 liang; Uncaria 1 liang; Ginseng (with root tip removed) half a liang; Gentiana 半两; Licorice (roasted) half a liang (grind the above ingredients into a fine powder); Mercury 1 fen; Ox-gall (ground separately) 1 qian; Musk (ground) 1 qian; Gold leaf 20 pieces.

Processing
Grind the mercury into a paste, mix it thoroughly with the other herbs, and combine with half a jin of honey and 4 liang of ghee. In a silver or stone pot, first add 2 sheng of water. Set aside the gold paste, ghee, and honey; add the remaining herbs first, and simmer over low heat until the volume is reduced to 1 sheng.filter out the residue through new cotton, then add the ghee, honey, and gold paste, stirring well. Stir continuously with a willow branch until it becomes a paste, then store in a porcelain container.

Instructions for Use
Take a dose the size of a soybean with each serving, dissolved in peppermint tea.
