Drug Formulation
Indigo Powder, Cinnamon Bark, Arsenic, Croton Seed, and Sulfur—each in equal parts.

Processing
Do not remove the skins or shells from the ingredients; do not process them. Grind into a powder. On the 5th day of the 5th lunar month, use the ash from the corners of five families’ zongzi to form pills the size of a jujube pit.

Instructions for Use
Wrap firmly in cotton and insert into the ear on the day the hair is to be cut—the left ear for men and the right for women.
Note
Avoid meat and fish.
