Drug Formulation

Raw Rehmannia Root (dried weight) half liang, Prepared Rehmannia Root (dried weight) 1 liang (steamed 20 times until it turns a blackish-brown color; must not come into contact with water), Licorice (roasted) 1 liang, Angelica Root (soaked in wine for half a day, then dried; dried weight) 1 liang and 1 fen,Cinnamon Bark (peeled, not exposed to direct flame) 1 liang 1 fen, Dried Ginger (roasted) 1 liang 1 fen, White Peony Root 1 liang, Genuine Puhuang (placed on paper, gently roasted over a low flame in a wok) 1 liang, Very Small Black Beans (roasted and peeled) 1 liang 5 fen, Aconite Root (roasted, 6 qian in weight; use only the part without skin or pith) 2 qian.
