5 liang of ox hoof, 5 liang of horse hoof, 5 liang of donkey hoof, 5 liang of pig hoof, 5 liang of sheep hoof, 1 qian 5 fen of forsythia, 1 qian 5 fen of acorus,Curcuma zedoaria 1 qian 5 fen, Black Aconite 1 qian 5 fen, White Aconite 1 qian 5 fen, Wood Fragrance 1 qian 5 fen, Coptis 1 qian 5 fen, Glehnia root 1 qian 5 fen, Lycium bark 1 qian 5 fen, Scrophularia root 1 qian 5 fen, Bupleurum root 1 qian 5 fen, White Mustard Seed 1 qian, Trichosanthes root 1 qian, Hawthorn 6 fen, Barley malt 6 fen, Shenqu 6 fen.

Processing
First, add five hoof nails to 2 jin 4 liang of sesame oil, boil until charred, and remove the dregs. Then add the 16 ingredients, including Forsythia, and boil until charred. Filter to remove impurities. Wait until the oil is reduced to the point where a drop forms a bead, then add 1 jin 2 liang of cinnabar and use water to fly-process the mixture to form a paste.

Apply as a poultice to the affected area.
Note
Avoid applying to the space between the eyebrows or behind the ears.
