Drug Formulation

1 liang of rhubarb (soaked in wine, steamed until tender, and coarsely chopped), 1 liang of angelica root, half a liang of long pepper, 1 liang of ghost’s belt, 1 liang of trichosanthes fruit (pits removed, stir-fried with wheat bran), half a liang of red peony root, and half a liang of pig’s tooth soapberry (roasted over fire).

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. Take 1 liang per dose, add 2 zhan of pure wine, decoct until reduced to 1 zhan, strain out the residue, and take warm before meals.
