Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; form into pills using glutinous rice porridge, each weighing 1 qian. Use 1 liang of cinnabar, ground into a fine powder and suspended in water, as a coating. Do not dry in an oven.

Instructions for Use
For latent epidemic pathogens, yin and yang toxins, mania, delirium, chest and diaphragm obstruction, or latent toxic pathogens that have not yet manifested, prepare a decoction of fresh mint and grind it into a paste for oral administration; for warm pathogens from sheep’s wool, when toxic fire has been activated and mild fever and chills are present, accompanied by confusion, disorientation, headache or dizziness, a bluish complexion, red spots on the tongue, or rashes, along with chest distension and a stiff body, prepare a decoction of gypsum and grind it into a paste for oral administration;For cholera, intestinal cramps, or exposure to mountain mists and miasma, as well as warm dysentery and warm malaria, use lampwick decoction ground into a paste; for poison from witchcraft, fox venom, wild mushrooms, pufferfish, the meat of dead cattle or horses, or toxins from plants, birds, and animals—manifesting as abdominal pain, vomiting, blocked qi, and mental confusion—use yellow wine ground into a paste;For stroke-like symptoms—such as a crooked mouth and eyes, slurred speech, and clenched jaws—as well as rheumatic joint pain, stiffness of tendons and bones, swelling and pain in the hands and feet, and difficulty walking—all should be treated by grinding the remedy into a paste with light ginger decoction and taking it orally;Nine types of chest pain, stomach pain, and abdominal pain; dizziness and retching; as well as acute epileptic seizures, frenzied screaming caused by “ghostly qi,” running about in a state of madness, and various forms of epilepsy—all should be taken ground with boiling water or, alternatively, with light ginger soup;For men and women suffering from “transmitted corpse” syndrome, bone-steaming syndrome, consumptive cough, or injuries caused by parasites, take one pill ground with boiling water every morning during the first half of the month; For women with masses or tumors, amenorrhea, irregular menstruation, abdominal pain, or dreams of copulating with ghosts, grind the pills with a decoction of safflower, add a small amount of rice wine, and take the mixture;For children with febrile convulsions, abdominal pain from food stagnation, five types of malnutrition with intermittent fever, and measles or warm-pathogen infections, grind the herb with a decoction of peppermint leaves and take orally;For one-sided or bilateral headaches, as well as toothaches on either side or in the upper or lower teeth, grind raw daikon radish juice and apply it to the affected area; internally, grind it with boiling water and take it orally. For boils, abscesses on the back, and unexplained swellings or toxic sores, grind the herb with rice wine, add toad venom and borneol, and apply the mixture to the affected area; internally, grind it with boiling water and take it orally. To prevent epidemic diseases, place the pills in a crimson gauze pouch and hang it over the chest or tie it to the left wrist.
