1 white-feathered male black chicken (strangled to death; remove internal organs; simmer until tender in 2 jin of yellow wine; then mix in the following herbs), 4 liang of Codonopsis, 2 liang of white peony root (wine-fried),3 liang of Sichuan Duan, 2 liang of Mulberry Cuttlefish Bone, 2 liang of stir-fried Atractylodes, 3 liang of roasted Astragalus, 2 liang of Guangdong Curcuma, 2 liang of Sichuan Ligusticum, 3 liang of Poria (mixed with milk), 4 liang of processed Cyperus, 2 liang of Lycium Bark (wine-fried),Cornus fruit 2 liang, roasted licorice 1 liang, Eucommia bark 3 liang, calcined dragon bone 2 liang, Moutan bark 2 liang, Angelica root 3 liang, Salvia root 3 liang, calcined oyster shell 2 liang, Corydalis 1 liang 5 qian, Ligusticum root 2 liang 5 qian, Chinese yam 2 liang 5 qian, Bletilla rhizome 2 liang, Safflower 1 liang.
