Drug Formulation

5 jin of Pong’e-shu, 5 jin of Jing Sanling (soaked in water until soft, then sliced), 5 jin of tangerine peel (sorted and cleaned), 5 jin of green tangerine peel, 3 jin of black pepper, 3 jin of dried ginger (roasted), 3 jin of asafoetida, and red alum.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with vinegar paste to form pills the size of a paulownia seed, and coat with cinnabar.

Take 60 pills per dose, washed down with a decoction of dried tangerine peel.
