Chinese Name : 消痔丸

Drug Formulation

1 liang of rhinoceros horn, 1 liang of elephant tusk, 1 liang of frankincense, 1 liang of myrrh, and 5 qian of alum.

From *Xian Nian Ji*, Volume 4.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Melt 5 qian of beeswax and use it to form pills the size of a paulownia seed. Additionally, boil 4 liang each of forsythia and honeysuckle in 5 jin of good wine, then strain out the residue.

Benefits

Hemorrhoidal fistulas.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 pills each time, in the morning on an empty stomach, washed down with the medicinal wine. After taking 21 pills, the condition will resolve on its own.
