Drug Formulation

1 jin of rhubarb, 3 liang of safflower, 3 liang of sappan wood, 1 jin of black beans, 1 jin of yellow wine, and 3 jin of vinegar(First, crush the rhubarb into small pieces. Simmer the safflower, black beans, and brazilwood in clean water until thoroughly infused; strain out the residue and filter the liquid. Use this liquid to simmer the rhubarb until the liquid is fully absorbed. Next, pour in the vinegar and simmer slowly over low heat, stirring constantly with a spatula until it reaches a thick paste-like consistency. Then pour in the rice wine, simmer briefly, and transfer to a bowl.) 2 liang of angelica root,2 liang of Chuanxiong, 2 liang of Shu Di, 2 liang of Poria (peeled), 2 liang of roasted Atractylodes, 2 liang of Cyperus (vinegar-processed), 2 liang of Wuyao,Yuanhu 2 liang (vinegar-processed), peach kernels 2 liang (peeled), fried Polygonum strobilum 2 liang, Sichuan Achyranthes 2 liang, raw white peony root 5 qian, Guangpi 5 qian, Guangmuxiang 5 qian, Sanling 5 qian (vinegar-processed), Wulingzhi 5 qian (vinegar-fried), charred Sanguisorba officinalis 5 qian, Qianghuo 5 qian, Cornus officinalis flesh (wine-processed) 5 qian,Ginseng 3 qian (stem removed), Green Tangerine Peel (vinegar-fried) 3 qian, White Atractylodes 3 qian (wheat bran-fried), Wood Apple 3 qian, Galangal 4 qian, Processed Myrrh 1 qian, Processed Frankincense 1 qian, Licorice 5 qian (grind all of the above into a fine powder, mix thoroughly with boiled and processed rhubarb, and sun-dry).

Processing

Grind the mixture into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills weighing 3 qian 5 fen each, and seal them securely in wax-coated paper or wax paper tubes.
