Drug Formulation

3 liang of tiger bone, 3 liang of wild kudzu, 15 pieces of aconite (weighing 9 liang), 3 sheng of Sichuan pepper, 1 sheng of apricot kernels, 1 sheng of croton seeds (with seed coats removed), 1 sheng of sliced ligusticum, 1 liang of licorice, 1 liang of asarum, and 2 liang of realgar.

Processing

Soak the above herbs in vinegar for one Zhou. Add 6 jin of lard and simmer gently, bringing the mixture to a boil three times and removing it from the heat three times, until fully incorporated. Add 1 piece of Aconite root—adjust the amount based on the color of the mixture—then strain out the residue. Add realgar and stir until thick and well blended. Store in an airtight container.

Instructions for Use

Apply this ointment externally to all ailments. If taken internally, use a dose the size of a jujube, dissolve it in 1 he of hot wine, and after a short while, pluck out a white hair; apply the mixture to the affected area, and new hair will grow.

Note

Do not allow contact with the eyes.
