White alum (bright-colored, ground) 2 liang, yellow beeswax 1 liang.

Processing
Melt the yellow wax and remove it from the heat; once it has cooled slightly, add the ground alum and stir continuously until well blended. Mix in 5–6 qian of honey until uniform, then roll the mixture into pills with both hands, each about the size of a paulownia seed. If the wax has cooled too much to form pills, heat it in boiling water to soften it, then coat the pills with cinnabar.

Instructions for Use
Take 20 pills per dose, gradually increasing to 30–40 pills, and swallow with plain hot water or wine. One must take 100 pills in a single day for the formula to be effective. Taking a total of over half a jin throughout the course of treatment guarantees a complete cure. It is especially beneficial to continue taking this formula after recovery.
