Drug Formulation

Rhubarb 5 liang, hemp seeds 1 sheng (lightly roasted, then ground), sodium carbonate 6 liang, dried kudzu root 5 liang, white mulberry root bark 5 liang.

Processing

First, pound the first four ingredients into a powder. Then, pound the hemp seeds until they form a paste; immediately add the four-ingredient powder and mix thoroughly. Add a small amount of honey and continue pounding until well blended, then form into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

For wind-induced constipation with obstruction.

Instructions for Use

Initially take 10 pills twice daily, gradually increasing the dose. Stop once bowel movements resume.
