Drug Formulation

Acorus tatarinowii (remove filaments, wash) 1 liang; Polygala tenuifolia (remove core, wash, chop, stir-fry until yellow) 1 liang; Panax ginseng (remove root stalk) 1 liang; Poria cocos (remove woody core) 1 liang; Ligusticum chuanxiong 1 liang; Dioscorea opposita 1 liang; iron powder 1 liang; Ophiopogon japonicus (soak in water, remove core) 1 liang;Tianma 1 liang, Pinellia Fermented with Rice Malt 1 liang, Southern Pinellia (chopped into dice-sized pieces, stir-fried with wheat bran until yellow) 1 liang, White Aconite Root (raw) 1 liang, Asarum (leaves removed) half a liang, Cinnabar (water-washed) half a liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Extract the juice from 5 liang of fresh ginger, mix it with water, and boil until it forms a paste. Shape into pills the size of mung beans. Coat each pill separately with cinnabar and let them dry.

Instructions for Use

Take 30–50 pills per dose, washed down with ginger soup before bedtime; reduce the dose for children.
