Drug Formulation

3 liang of Huangyaozi, 3 liang of Baiyaozi, 2 liang of Tianhuafen, 1 liang of Chuanlian (carefully selected, ground into a fine powder, sifted, and using only the finest fraction), 3 qian of Guangmuxiang, 2 qian of Chenxiang, 5 fen of Musk, and 3 fen of Camphor.

Steamed with pig bile to form pills; each pill weighs 1 fen.

Benefits

For malaria-like miasma, bloody or white dysentery, and all heat-related syndromes; for shā-induced distension, facial flushing, body heat, shortness of breath, and unconsciousness.

Instructions for Use

For malaria-induced phlegm and thirst, or phlegm-fire in the elderly, let 3 pills dissolve in the mouth before bedtime; while traveling in summer, regularly let 1 pill dissolve in the mouth to quench thirst and relieve heat; if suffering from severe fever, take 5–7 pills, pound them together with a pinch of good tea and one salted plum, then mix with well water and swallow;For heart heat, headache, and blurred vision, let 3–5 pills dissolve in the mouth; for bloody dysentery, pound 7 pills with mugwort root juice; for white dysentery, pound with tea and a plum and take orally.
