Formulas Name : Fuzi Lizhong Pills

Chinese Name : 附子理中丸

Drug Formulation

Aconite (roasted, with skin and pith removed) 3 liang, Ginseng (with root base removed) 3 liang, Dried Ginger (roasted) 3 liang, Licorice (roasted) 3 liang, White Atractylodes 3 liang.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills, making 10 pills per liang.

Benefits

For deficiency-cold of the spleen and stomach, characterized by poor appetite, a sensation of fullness and oppression, abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea; a faint pulse and cold extremities; cholera with muscle cramps; or cold-induced headache; as well as all cases of deep-seated cold and chronic chilliness.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose; dissolve it in 1 zhan of water, then simmer until the liquid is reduced to 7 fen. Take while slightly warm on an empty stomach or before meals.

Note

Avoid raw and cold foods; contraindicated for pregnant women.
