Chinese Name : 杏仁雌鸡汤
Drug Formulation
1 liang of almonds (soaked in hot water, skinned, tips removed, and double kernels separated; stir-fried with wheat bran until slightly yellow), 1 liang of calcite powder,1 liang of licorice (roasted until slightly reddish, then coarsely chopped), 1 liang of Evodia fruit (soaked in hot water 7 times, dried in an oven, then lightly roasted), 1 liang of dried ginger (cracked by roasting, then coarsely chopped), 1 liang of Ophiopogon tuber (core removed), 1 liang of Schisandra berries, 1 he of glutinous rice, 1 liang of Aster tataricus (washed to remove stems and soil).

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. First, take one yellow female chicken and prepare it as for a meal. Boil the chicken in one dou of water to extract 5 sheng of broth. Remove the chicken and add the medicine, then simmer until reduced to 3 sheng. Next, add 2 sheng of wine and simmer until reduced to 4 sheng.

Take 1 small cup per dose, warm, before meals.
