10 jin of Mianwen Rhubarb.

Processing
Slice the material. First, soak it in white wine or rice wine for two days and nights; then boil it in an earthenware pot until one large incense stick has burned out, remove it, spread it on a board, and sun-dry until completely dry. Repeat this process two or three times. For the fourth preparation, use a decoction of Ligusticum wallichii to soak the material for one day and night, then boil and sun-dry as before. For the fifth preparation, pick and wash Plantago asiatica, sprinkle with water, pound to extract the juice, soak the material in it, and boil and sun-dry as before;For the sixth preparation, use leaves of the Chinese arborvitae (planted facing southeast), harvested at dawn, washed with water, and pounded to extract juice; soak, boil, and dry as before. For the final three preparations, soak in wine again and boil thoroughly; after the ninth soaking, dry only until half-dry, then pound into a paste in a stone mortar to form pills, weighing 1 fen, 3 fen, 1 qian, 2 qian, or 3 qian each.
