Drug Formulation

Raw Rehmannia (washed), Aquilaria (unroasted), Ophiopogon (core removed), Cimicifuga, Notopterygium, Paeonia, Angelica dahurica,Chuanxiong, Cinnamon Bark (unroasted, outer bark removed), Akebia Stem (peeled), Angelica Root (root tip removed), Astragalus (honey-fried), Platycodon Root, Licorice (fried), and Forsythia—all in equal parts.

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take with warm wine. If the patient has not had a bowel movement after the initial dose, increase the amount of Rhubarb and take it. It is even better to decoct it with a mixture of water and wine.
