Drug Formulation

Ephedra 150 g, Bitter Apricot Kernels 450 g, Schisandra 112.5 g, Licorice 150 g, Apricot Kernel Water 20 mL, Sucrose 625 g, Flavoring to taste, Sodium Benzoate 3 g.

Processing

Take Schisandra, licorice, bitter apricot kernels, and ephedra; decoct twice in water. Filter the decoction, combine the filtrates, and concentrate to approximately 1 liter.let stand for 36 hours, collect the supernatant, add sucrose and sodium benzoate, boil to dissolve, and concentrate until the hot specific gravity reaches 1.22; filter immediately, allow to cool, add almond water, flavoring, and water to a total volume of 1 liter, stir until uniform, and the product is ready.

Instructions for Use

Oral administration: 10–15 milliliters per dose, three times daily; reduce dosage appropriately for children; shake well before use.
