Drug Formulation

3 liang of ox bile (ground), 4 fen of pearl (boiled with rotten meat, then ground), 1 qian of large borneol, 1 qian of Dangmenzi, 5 fen of dried alum, 3 fen of pi-ba, 2 qian of realgar, 3 qian of cinnabar, 3 fen of rock salt, 1 qian of alum, 1 qian of fire-refined saltpeter, and 50 pages of genuine Buddha-face gold.

Processing

Grind each of the above ingredients into an extremely fine powder. Mix them together at noon on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month, and store in a porcelain jar, ensuring no air escapes.
