Drug Formulation
3 qian of realgar, 3.5 qian of gall alum, 3.5 qian of calcined white alum, 3.5 qian of verdigris, 3.5 qian of mercury oxide, 3.5 qian of cinnabar, 3.5 qian of dragon’s blood, 1 qian of toad venom, and 2 qian of yellow丹.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; prepare the mixture at noon on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month; form into pills the size of a chicken’s head using water paste.

For various swellings, carbuncles, boils on the back, erysipelas, and unexplained malignant sores.
Instructions for Use
Take 1 pill per dose. First, boil 3 cun of green onion whites to make a decoction; the patient should chew the decoction until it is pulpy and spit it into the palm of their hand. Then, wrap the pill in the green onion pulp and swallow it with good wine. If the ailment is in the upper part of the body, take it after a meal; if in the lower part, take it before a meal. Do not chew the pill, as this may damage the teeth and mouth. Shortly thereafter, it will feel as if pulling a heavy cart for 2–3 li; once sweat breaks out, the condition will be cured, or a bowel movement may occur.
