Drug Formulation

Astragalus 5 liang, Coptis 5 liang, Trichosanthes root 5 liang, Sophora flavescens 3 liang, Scrophularia 6 liang, Trichosanthes fruit 4 liang, Lycium bark 4 liang, Dragon bone 4 liang, Smilax 4 liang, Deer antler (roasted) 4 liang,3 liang of oyster shell (roasted), 3 liang of ginseng, 3 liang of mulberry cuttlefish (roasted), and 1 sheng of schisandra berries.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey, and form into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Benefits

For diabetes. Frequent urination, copious urine output accompanied by thirst; gradually increased food and drink intake; gradual loss of muscle mass; lack of energy; and pale complexion.

Instructions for Use

Initially take 15 pills; gradually increase to 30 pills. Take with bamboo root decoction twice daily.

Note

Avoid pork and cold water.
