3 qian of yellow丹, 3 qian of frankincense, 2 liang of honey.

Processing

Place the ingredients in a porcelain vessel, place the vessel over a low flame, and simmer until a paste forms, allowing the toxic fumes to escape through the bottom.

Instructions for Use

Apply a pea-sized amount around the eyes. For red, hot eyes, mix with fresh Rehmannia root juice or borneol and mint juice; for wind-induced eye disorders, mix with Schizonepeta decoction; for eyelid ulcers caused by wind, mix with maple water. If maple water is unavailable, simply mix with rice water and apply; for eyes weakened by deficiency, mix with a decoction of Astragalus and apply.
