1 ox gallbladder, 3 qian of Sichuan gun (ground; select the finest quality).

Processing

During the cold winter months, mix the Sichuan gunpowder with water inside the ox gallbladder until well blended, then hang it in a drafty place to air-dry for future use.

Instructions for Use

When administering to children, give one piece the size of a jidou bean for every year of age; for a 2-year-old, one piece the size of a yuandou bean; for a 3-year-old, one piece the size of a fandao bean. In all cases, mix with boiling water before administration.
