Drug Formulation

1 liang of beeswax, 2 pig gallbladders, 1 clump of human hair, 2 qian of mercury oxide, 1 liang of sesame oil.

Processing

First, boil the sesame oil for 4–5 boils; then add the beeswax and boil for another 5–6 boils. Next, add the hair and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly with a locust or willow twig. Once the hair has dissolved, remove the residue. Then add the mercury oxide and simmer briefly for about one hour. Pour the mixture into a porcelain container and soak it in cold water for a short while to form a paste.

Instructions for Use
