Drug Formulation

1 jin of pure sesame oil, half a jin of high-quality orpiment, 5 qian of Sichuan aconite, 5 qian of Euphorbia, 5 qian of Angelica sinensis, 5 qian of licorice, 20 beetles, 5 qian of pangolin scales, and 5 qian of toadseed (kernel).

Processing

First, place the sesame oil in a pot and simmer the first seven ingredients until charred; strain out the residue, then add the realcinnabar and simmer until it forms beads. Remove from heat and add the following ingredients: 5 qian of aloe,5 qian of Asafoetida, 5 qian of Realgar, 5 qian of Borax, 5 qian of Calcium Carbonate, 5 qian of Musk, and 7 qian of Safflower. Grind these seven ingredients into a fine powder and keep on hand for use as needed. Each pill weighs 3 qian.

Instructions for Use

When applying the first patch, first wash the affected area thoroughly with a solution of calcium carbonate and water, then apply the patch. On the third day, you will feel itching on the abdomen; on the seventh day, the condition will become severely painful—these are signs that the treatment is taking effect.

Note

Avoid raw, cold, and greasy foods.
