Drug Formulation

Huang Dan (water-floated) 1 qian, mercury oxide 3 fen, camphor 1 li.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder.

Benefits

Opacities in the eyes caused by smallpox, which may be red or white, accompanied by swelling and pain.

Instructions for Use

Blow the powder into the ear using a goose-quill tube: if the left eye is affected, blow it into the right ear; if the right eye is affected, blow it into the left ear. Administer three times daily. Take Tongming Powder concurrently. Early treatment is essential; delay will inevitably lead to difficulty in treatment.
