Pharbitis (any amount; place a new tile over a fire until it glows red-hot; then suddenly place the Pharbitis on the tile—half will remain raw and half cooked; do not stir; grind into a powder to make 1 liang); sulfur 1 fen (finely ground).

Instructions for Use

Grind the ingredients evenly, divide into 3 portions. For each portion, mix 1 spoon of wheat flour with water to form a dough, then cut into chess-piece-sized pieces. At the beginning of the fifth watch, boil in 1 zhan of water until cooked; swallow while warm along with the broth. If the pain subsides immediately, treatment is complete; if not, repeat the process the following day.
