Processing
Decoct 5 qian of cold-food flour in wine, then roll into pills the size of millet grains.
Benefits
Various childhood illnesses: fever due to external invasion by wind and cold; internal injury from consuming raw or cold foods; chest pain; intestinal pain; cholera with vomiting and diarrhea; dysentery with red or white stools; malaria with alternating chills and fever; abdominal distension and bloating; latent summer heat; pain caused by intestinal parasites; constipation; difficulty urinating; fever associated with abdominal masses; coughing and shortness of breath; and acute and chronic convulsions in children.
Instructions for Use
Take 3–5 pills per dose. For fever due to external invasion by wind-cold, take with ginger and scallion decoction to induce sweating; for internal injury from raw or cold foods, take with clear tea; for chest pain, take with mugwort and vinegar decoction; for abdominal pain, take with light ginger decoction; for cholera with vomiting and diarrhea, take with ginger decoction; for red dysentery, take with clear tea; for white dysentery, take with light ginger decoction; for mixed red and white dysentery, take with ginger and tea decoction;for malaria with chills and fever, take with ginger soup; for heart distension and bloating, take with ginger soup; for latent summer heat, take with cold water; for pain caused by various parasites, take with Chinese toon root soup; for severe constipation, take with tea; for difficulty urinating, take with rush soup; for fever due to abdominal masses, take with tea; for coughing and shortness of breath, take with ginger soup; for acute and chronic convulsions in children, take with peppermint soup.
