Drug Formulation
1 set of sheep’s liver (washed in hot water and finely chopped), 1 set of sheep’s stomach (washed in hot water and finely chopped), 1 set of sheep’s kidneys (washed in hot water and finely chopped), 1 set of sheep’s heart (washed in hot water and finely chopped), 1 set of sheep’s lungs (washed in hot water and finely chopped), 1 liang of black pepper, 1 liang of long pepper, 1 he of fermented soybeans, 1 handful of scallion whites (finely chopped), and 1 liang of clarified beef butter.

Instructions for Use
First, mix the five spices together. Add 7 sheng of water and simmer over low heat until reduced to 5 sheng. Strain out the solids. Combine the sheep’s liver and other ingredients with the broth, then stuff the mixture into the sheep’s stomach. Tie the opening of the stomach closed, place it in a separate silk bag, and boil until cooked. Remove while still hot, cut open the stomach, and eat the contents, gradually consuming all the broth as well.
