Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Simmer with 1 jin of sesame oil over low-to-medium heat until it forms a paste, then store it in a white porcelain container. Separately, combine 2 large bowls each of rice vinegar, ginger juice, and scallion juice, and simmer over low-to-medium heat until it forms a paste; store this in a porcelain container as well.Take 1 jin and a half of high-quality pine resin and melt it over moderate heat; only then add the vinegar, ginger, and scallion juices. Mix thoroughly with a locust wood stick, then simmer once more over moderate heat, gradually adding the sesame oil and medicinal decoction, and finally incorporating frankincense, myrrh, and asafoetida.
