Formulas Name : Drip-Dew Ointment

Chinese Name : 滴露膏

Source

From *Medical Explorations* (Vol. 6).

Processing

Roast the first three ingredients with sesame oil until they turn purple, then add mercury and grind finely into a paste.

Benefits

Scabies.

Instructions for Use

Apply the ointment all over the body, from the top of the head down, covering both affected and unaffected areas. However, do not apply it to the groin area in men or the breasts in women, as the ointment may cause ulceration in these two areas. After application, warm the body gently over a low flame. Half a day later, a layer of red spots will appear all over the body; within 3–5 days, they will dry and form a thin crust, indicating that the damp-toxin has been completely expelled, and the condition will never recur.
