Drug Formulation

5 jin of ephedra (remove roots and nodes; chop into 1-cun pieces; take 5 dou of river water; boil in a grease-free pot until reduced to just over 1 dou; strain out the ephedra; let cool completely; filter through a fine sieve to remove residue; retain the clear liquid; return to the pot and boil down into a paste, stirring frequently to prevent burning on the bottom), 2 liang of white angelica,2 liang of mulberry bark, 2 liang of Atractylodes lancea, 2 liang of Glycyrrhiza, 2 liang of duckweed, 3 liang of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 3 liang of Sophora flavescens.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and mix with the ephedra paste to form pills the size of a marble.

Benefits

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose, dissolved in warm wine, before bedtime; repeat the dose after 2–3 days. The hands and feet will immediately feel light and agile.
