Drug Formulation

Half liang of ginseng, half liang of white poria, half liang of cardamom, half liang of astragalus, and 2 qian of licorice (roasted).

For skin rashes without thirst, or cold in the viscera with loose stools.

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. Take 1 qian per dose; add half a zhan of water, 5 slices of ginger, and 1 jujube; decoct until reduced to 3 fen. Nursing mothers should take a double dose. For loose stools and smallpox lesions that are gradually turning black and sunken, both the child and the nursing mother should take this formula.
