Drug Formulation

5 qian of Tiannanxing, 5 qian of Danggui, 5 qian of Bai Zhi, 5 qian of Chishao, 5 qian of powdered Licorice, 5 qian of Cinnamon Bark, 2 qian 5 fen of Clove Buds, 1 qian 5 fen of Dragon’s Blood, 3 qian of Myrrh, 3 qian of Frankincense, 3 qian of Borneol, and 5 fen of Musk.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into an extremely fine powder. Separately, bring 2 jin of sesame oil to a boil, add 1 jin of cinnabar, and simmer until the mixture thickens to the point where a drop of liquid forms a bead. Immerse the mixture in cold water to remove the toxic heat, then retrieve it and warm it until melted. Gradually mix in the herbal powder and stir until thoroughly blended.
