Drug Formulation

Ochre (ground) 1 fen, Musk (ground) 1 qian, Realgar (ground) 1 fen, Lead Oxide (ground) 1 fen, Cinnabar (ground) half liang, Tiannanxing (roasted until cracked) half liang, Tianma (soaked in wine, then roasted until dry) half liang, White Aconite half liang, Ephedra (roots and nodes removed, decocted, foam skimmed off, then baked) 1 liang,Cinnamon Bark (with coarse bark removed) 1 liang, White Silkworm (roasted) 1 liang, Dried Scorpion (cleaned of soil, roasted) 1 liang, Fangfeng (with branches removed) 1 liang, Du Huo (with root tip removed) 1 liang, Qianghuo (with root tip removed) 1 liang, Aconite Root (cracked, with skin and pith removed) 1 liang, Angelica Root (sliced, roasted) 1 liang.

Processing

Of the 17 ingredients listed above, except for those to be ground into powder, pound the rest into a fine powder, sift it, then mix in the ground powder and grind again until uniform.
