Instructions for Use

For each dose, use 3 qian of the mixture and 1 spoonful of good vinegar; mix into a paste and form into pills the size of a walnut. Place the pill in the palm of the patient’s hand, bind both hands together, and clamp them tightly between the legs. Cover with a blanket to keep warm until sweating occurs; once the patient regains consciousness, remove the medicine and wash the hands with yellow mud water.
