Drug Formulation

50 peach kernels (with skin and tips removed), 2 liang cinnamon twigs (with bark removed), 4 liang rhubarb, 2 liang sodium silicate, 2 liang licorice (roasted).

Instructions for Use

Add 7 sheng of water to the ingredients, boil down to 2.5 sheng, strain out the residue, add芒消, and return to low heat until it simmers gently. Remove from heat; take 5 he while warm before meals, three times daily; this should induce mild bowel movements.

Note

Avoid seaweed and Chinese cabbage; pregnant women should not take this formula.
