Wind-heat in the Spleen Meridian causes miliary or pepper-like eruptions on the eyelids; the patient experiences excessive tearing and difficulty opening the eyes, a gritty sensation, and pain upon rubbing the eyes; the miliary eruptions resemble millet grains and are yellow and soft in appearance. In cases of damp-heat in the Spleen Meridian, the pepper-like eruptions resemble peppercorns and are red and hard in appearance.
