Processing

Grind ox bile, pearl, musk, cinnabar, and amber separately; grind the remaining herbs into a fine powder, then mix all ingredients thoroughly.

For pediatric acute convulsive disorders caused by internal accumulation of phlegm-fire combined with external invasion by wind-pathogen, presenting with sudden, violent convulsions, high fever with shivering, opisthotonos, phlegm obstruction and breath-stopping, convulsive twitching of the limbs, deviation of the mouth and eyes, a cyanotic face, and clenched jaw.

Instructions for Use

For children aged one year, administer 1 fen per dose; for those aged 2–5 years, 2 fen per dose; for those aged 6–8 years, 3 fen per dose. Use lampwick, bamboo leaves, mint, and fresh ginger as adjuvants.

Note

Avoid spicy, raw, cold, and greasy foods; nursing mothers should also avoid these.
