Drug Formulation
90 seeds of Red Impatiens, 49 seeds of White Impatiens, 1 liang of naturally deceased turtle carapace (coated with sesame oil and roasted), 3 qian of Huai Achyranthes, 1 qian and 5 fen of Peach Kernels, 5 qian of Sichuan Ligusticum, and 5 qian of White Angelica root.

Failure of the pelvic bones to separate during labor.
Instructions for Use
Grind the Impatiens seeds into a fine powder and store them separately. At the onset of labor, weigh the remaining herbs precisely in liang, grind them into a powder, and mix them with the Impatiens seed powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with rice water at the onset of labor. If labor is delayed, take another 1 qian dose; the pubic symphysis will open immediately. For difficult labor, no more than three doses are required. Within one month of the expected delivery date, omit the Impatiens seeds from this formula and substitute with 2 liang of Motherwort Paste. Take 2 qian daily in the morning, mixed with rice water, to hasten labor.
Note
Do not take this formula if the fetal essence is deficient.
