Drug Formulation

Asparagus Root (core removed) 1 liang, Scutellaria Root (wine-fried) 1 liang, Sea Salt (ground separately) 1 liang, Dried Tangerine Peel (white pith removed) 1 liang, Forsythia Fruit half a liang, Platycodon Root half a liang, Cyperus Rhizome (soaked in light salt water, then fried) half a liang, Indigo Powder (ground separately) 1 qian, Sodium Silicate (ground separately) 2 qian, Trichosanthes Seed (ground separately) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey (to which a small amount of ginger juice has been added), and form into pills the size of a longan.

Instructions for Use

Place one pill in the mouth, chew it, and swallow it slowly with clear broth; or, if the pills are the size of mung beans, take 50–60 pills with lightly gingered broth.
